General Skin Diseases

Some of the most common skin diseases include: Acne, blocked skin follicles that lead to oil, bacteria, and dead skin buildup in your pores. Alopecia areata, losing your hair in small patches. Atopic dermatitis (eczema), is dry, itchy skin that leads to swelling, cracking or scaliness.

Acne Scar Treatment

Using a minor procedure called punch excision, your doctor cuts out individual acne scars and repairs the wound with stitches or a skin graft. With a technique called subcision, your doctor inserts needles under the skin to loosen fibers below a scar.

Allergic Skin Diseases

The most common allergic skin conditions are atopic dermatitis (eczema), allergic contact dermatitis (rash where allergen touched the skin), urticaria (hives), and angioedema (swelling). Hives and swelling often happen together, and may suggest a serious and life-threatening allergic reaction.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is thought to be an immune system problem. Triggers include infections, stress, and colds.
The most common symptom is a rash on the skin, but sometimes the rash involves the nails or joints.
Treatment aims to remove scales and stop skin cells from growing so quickly. Topical ointments, light therapy, and medication can offer relief.

Pigmentation

Pigmentation causes patches of skin to become darker than the surrounding skin. It occurs when the skin produces excess melanin, the pigment that gives skin its color. It can affect any skin type and is more likely during pregnancy, with older age, or after an injury.

Vitiligo

Vitiligo occurs when pigment-producing cells die or stop functioning.
Loss of skin color can affect any part of the body, including the mouth, hair, and eyes. It may be more noticeable in people with darker skin.

Wart and Mole Tratment

Both warts and moles have a broad base and go deep into the skin, but on a mole, the skin remains soft. Warts, however, appear as rough skin, possibly with points on the surface. They often appear on the hands, feet, elbows, and knees — where the skin is thicker and grows more slowly.

Hair fall Treatment

Treatment varies and ranges from cosmetic wigs to medication and hair transplant procedures.

Corn Foot

Corns and calluses are caused by friction and pressure from repeated actions. Some sources of this friction and pressure include: Wearing ill-fitting shoes and socks. Tight shoes and high heels can squeeze areas of the feet.

Skin infection

Skin infections occur when bacteria infect the skin and sometimes the deep tissue beneath the skin. Cellulitis is a common type of skin infection that causes redness, swelling, and pain in the infected area of the skin. Another type of skin infection is a skin abscess, which is a collection of pus under the skin.
